So I've been working on finding ways to get my heart into the Fitbit fat-burning zone that won't cause me injury to my joints. I tried walking on a treadmill but due to flat feet in my family and possibly improper form, I always end up hurting myself and then have to stop and start all over again which just happened to me. Now I'm trying to find a good form of exercise to just be able to work my heart and pour oxygen into my body in order to "pump my insides clean" and I thought that spinning was going to be it. I tried spinning yesterday on a recumbent bike but after trying different positions and levels of resistance it ended up feeling uncomfortable to my knees. I did an hour and they were feeling a bit sore. I was already afraid of injuring myself again. I started again today but I stopped after 13 minutes. There was an elliptical next to me so I thought I'd give it a try again. I know I've tried elliptical years ago in the past but it normally made me go out of breath too fast and ended up not being able to complete even 10 minutes of it. But now since I've been eating little to no processed foods, I was a little winded at first as my body adjusted to the exercise, but my body ended up getting used to it after about 15 minutes and then it leveled off and was sustainable. (12:12p) I finished the rest of my hour that I had started with the recumbent bike that I did 13 minutes on, so I did 47 minutes on the elliptical and I was elated! I realized that the elliptical was working my muscles and not my joints like the recumbent bike was. So the elliptical was engaging my heart properly unlike the recumbent bike. And due to the no stress on my joints, I left joint-pain-free! On top of that Fitbit gave me extra active zone points because I was accidentally in the cardio zone and not the fat-burning zone that I was aiming for. I was even trying to go slow at around 30 RPMs so that my heart rate wouldn't go into cardio, but it stayed at around 140 BPM for the duration of the workout. Where as on the recumbent bike I was striving hard at around 50 RPMs and resistance between 20-25 and still barely in the fat-burning zone.

Finally managed to work up a sweat!

So yes I look forward to doing the elliptical from now on as my exercise of choice when staying active in the gym. I'm also looking forward to incorporating walking on trails and tracking them with the GPS feature on the Fitbit. As well as weight lifting in due time to switch it up.

The download I got was the reason why cardio is so hard for people who are out of shape is because of the processed food. Processed food is like a wall or block that stops your body from flowing which makes the cardio almost impossible until you stop eating as much processed foods. I always start by adding more healthy options which eventually phase out the bad foods causing issues.

Even on the Bellicon that is supposed to be safe for joints, I still hurt my hip joint with shoes on. Although I may need new bungee cords and that could be why.

When I went to Las Vegas, I walked 10-15,000 steps for 5 days and I could visibly see areas on my body where lymphatic fluid was backed up like my arms had gone down drastically. So that made me realize that if I can maintain that type of activity in easier ways and incorporate it into my regular routine then I would continue to receive those benefits.

Now that I have increased my energy expenditure, I am trying to figure out how to eat enough to keep up with the 500 or even the 1000-calorie deficit. I'm quickly finding again that I don't eat enough food.

I also am doing Ionic Foot Detoxes twice per week now
